Royal Kokuto Iheya Brown Sugar Sponge Cake

Kokuto Iheya is a bite-sized sponge cake made from flour, egg and Okinawa grown brown sugar. It is manufactured by Royal, which is a local confectionery company in Gifu prefecture. We often call this kind of the cake “Suzu Castella” because of the bell looking shape. The cake is soft, fluffy and very delicious.
