Sanritsu Kani Bis Crab Shaped Biscuit

Kani Bis is a slightly sweet fermented biscuit shaped like a crab. It is manufactured and sold by Sanritsu Confectionery company in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka. The biscuits contain bifidobacteria and calcium, so they are safe for small children to eat. The biscuits also have crab faces carved into the surface, and there are 12 different face patterns in total, including those of other sea creatures. When you actually eat Kani Bis, it is firm and chewy, with a taste that is somewhere between a biscuit and a cracker, and is not too sweet.
