Aoki Shofuan Tsuki Gesho is Osaka’s most celebrated milk manju — a softly baked Japanese wagashi that brings together the refined craftsmanship of traditional Japanese confectionery and the rich, comforting warmth of Hokkaido dairy in a single, exquisitely tender bite.

At the heart of Tsuki Gesho is Aoki Shofuan’s house-made white bean paste (shiro-an), crafted from an original blend of Japanese kidney beans (ingen-mame) grown in Hokkaido.

Into this paste goes a generous amount of condensed milk and Hokkaido-produced butter, slow-cooked together until the filling becomes uniquely smooth, creamy, and mellow — a harmony of Japanese wagashi tradition and Western dairy richness that is unlike any ordinary manju.
