Bourbon Alfort Chocolate & Biscuit

Alfort is a half chocolate coated biscuit made from rich milk cacao and whole wheat flour. Each cookie has a sailing ship design shaped on the top of the chocolate side. It is produced by Niigata based confectionery company, Bourbon. The whole wheat biscuit part has a crispy and crumbly texture with a slightly fragrant taste. On the other hand, the chocolate is not too sweet and has a little bitter taste, which creates an excellent balance with the biscuit.
