Country Ma’am is the soft cookie. Everyone knows it is the soft cookie — the slightly chewy, warmly fragrant biscuit with chocolate chips that Fujiya has been making since 1984, and that has become one of the most recognizable cookies in Japan.
Crispy is what happens when that same cookie decides to do something different with its texture.
Country Ma’am Crispy keeps the flavor that made the original worth eating — the chocolate chips melting into each bite, the gentle vanilla warmth, the cocoa depth of the chocolate variety — and delivers it in a form that saku-saku snaps rather than yields.
The result is a cookie that tastes like Country Ma’am and feels like something new: lighter, more aerating, and suited for the kind of continuous snacking that a family pack is designed for.
Inside are two varieties, each built on domestically milled wheat flour and carrying its own identity.
The Vanilla cookie is golden and lightly caramelized, with whole milk powder and egg yolk contributing a rich, round dairy character that frames the chocolate chips cleanly.
The Shokora cookie brings cocoa into the dough alongside its own chocolate chips, producing a darker, more intense chocolate presence — the chip and the cookie now working in the same direction, deepening each other rather than simply coexisting.
At 10g per cookie and 46–48 kcal per piece, each individually wrapped biscuit is calibrated for one clean, satisfying moment. The bag holds 163g. That is approximately sixteen cookies. Family packs are optimistic by nature.
