Koikeya Karamucho Crash Corn Snacks Hot Chili

Karamucho Crash are bite-sized roll taype corn snacks consisting of multi-layer doughs and made from 100% Japanese potatoes and are a spicy snack based on the flavor of chili. Karamucho was released by Koikeya in 1984 as the original spicy potato chip. At the time they were released, there were no other spicy potato chips available, so they were hard to find in stores. However, after Karamucho was sold at a certain store, it became a big hit and its popularity spread nationwide, sparking a super-spicy food boom. Time passed, and in October 2024, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the birth of Karamuucho, a new product of crispy texture corn snack was released as the next challenge. This is an addictive snack with its savory meat, spicy chili peppers, and the “crunchy texture that crumbles inside your mouth” provided by the multi-layered corn dough.
