While Mini Cola referenced a specific drink, Mini Sour references a flavor category: the sharp, clean acidity of a sour carbonated beverage, without committing to a specific fruit or brand.

The bottle is the same miniature pull-tab can format as across the lineup — small, rounded, with a working pull-tab lid that opens exactly like a real canned drink.

Orion makes a point of clarifying on the packaging that “sour” here refers to the flavor profile, not the chu-hai cocktail that Japanese adults might associate with the word: this is a children’s dagashi product, and the sourness in question is the bright citric acidity of the candy tablets inside.

The tablets are the firmer, chewable type that defines the Mini Series — not the soft dissolving ramune that melts on the tongue, but a denser tablet that requires actual biting and chewing.
