After returning to Japan, years of development and countless trials followed, ultimately resulting in something the industry had never achieved before — successful mass production of a hand-crafted heart-shaped puff pastry at an affordable price.

Carefully baked in an oven using select ingredients, each piece delivers a satisfying crunch and a rich, lightly caramelized aroma. The heart shape isn’t cut with a mold — it forms naturally as the pastry expands in the oven, meaning no two pieces are exactly alike.

Achieving this shape consistently at scale was considered nearly impossible, and Sanritsu was the first in the industry to crack it.
